The MIS Conference Society was started to host a national level physician educational event combining the best of all three specialties using minimally invasive surgery techniques.  A planning committee was established consisting of:

Roger Gregory MD, Professor of Clinical Surgery at EVMS

Dwight Groves MD, Surgeon with The Group for Women and Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at EVMS

George Hoffman, MD, Surgeon with Norfolk Surgical Group and Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at EVMS

Steve Wohlgemuth MD, Surgeon with Norfolk Surgical Group, Medical Director- Sentara Bariatrics Center of Excellence, Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at EVMS

Our conference committee encompasses all three specialties plus the academic best from Eastern Virginia Medical School.  The MIS Conference Society has been formed as a non-profit 501c(3) corporation.
